ArtRage!

So I've been using ArtRage for a couple years now, mainly for pencil sketches. I've tried doing high resolution images in it but the brushes don't seem to scale. At least the ones I use. Then I happened upon some great tutorials by Sherm Cohen on his workflow for creating the covers for Spongebob books. Really inspiring!

    Thanks, Neil...I'm really glad you find them helpful! I had that problem with the brushes scaling, so I do the line art at 100% size, then I do the painting at half-size resolution, and then double its size back in Photoshop. Photoshop does a good job of enlarging the paint without making it look like it's been enlarged.
